The Blade, Celebration of Service to Country, Family and Commitment to The Blade This year George "Danny" Dansack celebrates his 90th birthday and an incredible life filled with the lasting memories of his service to country during WWII, the joy of family and commitment to a long career of 44 years with The Blade. Danny will celebrate this milestone birthday surrounded by his daughters, sons-in-law, grandchildren and great-grandchildren reminiscing about his years during the war with the 102nd Infantry Division winning three battle stars for operations in France, Belgium and Germany. Special honor will be given to the memory of Rita, who Danny was married to for 28 years before her passing in 1976 and June for 20 years before her passing in 1997. Many laughs and memories will be shared over special family vacations and celebrations and Danny's fulfilling 44 year career with The Blade starting as newspaper delivery boy through his role as Controller before his retirement in 1986.
